I have been having fun eating my way through this cookbook. It offers wonderful and approachable recipes for the beginner and leaves room for creativity by the more experienced home cook. I love the no-nonsense approach to the usual intimidating suspects, such as pastry & bread. Recipes are presented simply and come together easily. There is a nice variety of sweet & savory and contrast of classic & cultural diversity in the recipe selections. Mari-Louis and Callie have brought their love of food and family with humour and finesse to the table in their second charming publication.  Can’t wait to try the Macadamian Nut Tart next.
